RusaLCA International Conference
We are pleased to be able to invite you to attend a two-day conference, which is being organized in Ljubljana, Slovenia, between October 3rd and 4th, 2016, by the partners in the LIFE RusaLCA project. It was within the scope of this project, supported by the EU, that a small-scale wastewater treatment plant, making use of nano-technology, was constructed at Šentrupert, a small municipality in the southwest part of Slovenia. Using such plants the sustainable management of the use of water can be achieved, so that society as a whole can benefit.
At the conference the achievements of the project, including the bringing into practice of an innovative method of cleaning wastewater by means of nano-technology, will be presented and discussed, with contributions by speakers from Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the second day of the conference participants will visit the small-scale wastewater treatment plant at Šentrupert, and see a practical demonstration of its operation. The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experience about sustainable wastewater management.
If you decide that you would like to attend the conference please let us know through: rusalca@zag.si. We are also ready to answer any questions which you may have about the conference.
