Dubrovnik International ESEE Mining School: Zero Waste Management
We are pleased to announce the Dubrovnik International ESEE Mining school will be held from 20 to 25 November 2017 in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
This year the school is a part of a project financed by EIT RawMaterials. University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering, is the project coordinator, while the school is organised in collaboration with project partners from Montanuniversitaet Leoben and Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute.
The Dubrovnik International ESEE Mining School brings together international experts in the field of raw materials in the heart of the ESEE Region. Within the thematic workshops and project work the focus lies on direct knowledge transfer from renowned experts to the participants, but also the creation of an open dialogue between graduate students, scholars, researchers, the industry and the wider society. Focusing on recent developments within the mining industry and the development of the mining sector, our program aims at transferring newfound, innovative theoretical knowledge, tested in practice, to our participants.
