How to get to ZAG Ljubljana

By Train

Ljubljana is an important railroad junction and can be reached by trains from all major European cities.

By Road

It is easy to get to Ljubljana by car. ZAG Ljubljana is 5 minutes by car from the centre of Ljubljana. You can reach it by driving along the main road known as "Dunajska cesta" from the centre in a northerly direction until you pass the football stadium (on your left). You then drive on for approximately 200m, turn right at the first traffic lights, and continue for another 200 m until you see the sign "ZAG Ljubljana", where you turn right, towards our car-park. At the barrier you will need to give your name, and the purpose of your visit, so that the receptionist can raise the barrier and allow you to enter the car-park.

Listed below are the distances to some nearby cities:

    Trieste (Italy) 95 km
    Venice (Italy) 242 km
    Klagenfurt (Austria) 83 km
    Vienna (Austria) 380 km
    Munich (Germany) 408 km

By Air & Transfer from the Ljubljana airport to Ljubljana

Ljubljana is best served by Ljubljana International Jože Pučnik Airport at Brnik, 23 km northwest of the city, with direct daily connections to  major European cities: Amsterdam, Belgrade, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Istanbul, London, Moscow, Munich, Paris, Podgorica, Prague, Pristina, Sarajevo, Skopje, Tirana, Vienna and Zurich.

From Ljubljana International Jože Pučnik Airport at Brnik, Ljubljana can be easily reached either by bus service to Ljubljana bus station (about 10,00 EUR), by taxi (about 40,00 EUR) or shuttle transfer, normally standing in front of the exit (minivans) (about 10,00 EUR).

TAXI telephone number: +386 (0)31 311 311, +386 (0)41 970 000

You may also find it convenient to use one of the neighbouring airports, such as:

    Venice (Italy), 242 km southwest of Ljubljana;
    Trieste-Ronchi (Italy), 128 km southwest of Ljubljana;
    Klagenfurt (Austria), 90 km north of Ljubljana;
    Vienna (Austria), 380 km northeast of Ljubljana; or
    Zagreb-Pleso (Croatia), 141 km southeast of Ljubljana.

Important: we strongly recommend that you book your flight early.
